This Book is About YOU! Pete Thomas’ New Book, “Lose It Fast Lose It Forever”
LOSE IT FAST, LOSE IT FOREVER (LIF2) is not a book full of “tips” or “tricks,” but rather a new way of living. LIF2 helps you to understand the mechanics of weight loss and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime! The book is broken down into four easy steps:
|Step 1:||Your Power, in which readers will learn to Master Your Mind. Pete asks for a solid commitment to losing weight permanently, through goal setting and team recruitment.|
|Step 2:||Your Plan, in which readers will learn to Manage Your Mouth and Multiply Your Muscles. This is the study of the mechanics of weight loss and where readers develop their own Perfect Personalized Forever Meal Plan and Perfect Personalized Forever Workout Plan.|
|Step 3:||Your Pursuit, in which readers will put it all together for a fast transformation.|
|Step 4:||Your Purpose, in which readers will enjoy a new life in a new, healthier body. This includes maintenance and passing the information along to friends. Pete uses the 5 R’s: Review, Revise, Repeat, Reward and Reach Back to make this step a reality. Pete also provides tools for getting back on track if there is a bad stretch of eating or lack of exercise.|
I Had My Reasons…
Seven years ago I weighed over 400 pounds—and I wanted to lose weight for many of the same reasons most people do:
- To get rid of the stigma of being fat
- To lose my obesity-related medical conditions (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.)
- To be free of those special situations my obesity created — lap belts on airplanes, special seating arrangements, etc.
- To be able to do normal everyday activities, like walking up and down stairs without huffing and puffing
All of those things are good, and they really do come with losing weight. But once I had been living at my goal weight for a time, I realized there was a deeper reason to lose the extra weight — fulfilling my life’s purpose. The extra weight I had been carrying around actually hindered me from fulfilling my potential in every area — my profession, my relationships, my hobbies, my spiritual pursuits.
You see, most of us who want to lose weight disconnect our health from our purpose. And so fitness becomes a way to meet short-term goals. That’s why most people are doomed to fail at losing weightpermanently. The purpose of obtaining better health is to walk out your life’s purpose. Fitness should be practiced for a lifetime. Your physical body is the cup that carries your life’s purpose and being fit allows you to be a better parent, co-worker, employee, boss, and mentor, etc.
You Are More Than A Number
Your weight is more than just a number. Don’t simply seek to lower the number on the scale without actually thinking about the reason for lowering the number. Your purpose or the reason for losing weight is the glue between setting a goal and acting on the goal.
My Gift to You
I’ve been given a gift and I am now sharing that gift with you. I encourage you to read this book and apply the information in the book not just to fit into that sexy black dress, the swimsuit or the 36 inch pants. Read this book and apply the information in order to lose every “weight” that holds you back from being your highest and best YOU.
Get Started Today!
You’ve heard the saying, “Success Breeds Success…” I encourage you to buy two books. Partner with someone and get a goal to work though the book together. Then use the success you achieve in your heath and start to focus on becoming more successful in every area of your life. After all, YOU deserve it!
Remember, there’s a winner Within you!
